Part of our "Tuff Stuff Series," The Queen Anne kit is engineered to be easily assembled. The windows, doors and beaded trim molding were especially designed for this house and come pre-assembled. The clapboard is milled (routed) into the exterior walls and grooved so you have a gaurenteed fit. The rooms in the two story octogonal tower are accessable from the interior. Side opening panels allow better access to the front rooms. Room dividers may be used in a variety of ways, allowing for a more flexible floor plan. The railings and posts are already pre-cut. Interior stair cases are positioned so that they face the back of the house allowing maximum access.

In the tradition of "the Painted Ladies" of Oak Park Illnois, the Queen Anne house comes with seven different styles of wooden shingles. Some miniaturists have applied different color washes (thinned acyrlic paint) to a portion of the different shapes creating traditional and dramatic designs in the shingling.. Special attention went into designing the instructions to be simple to follow.  Illustratations aid in explaining the assembly along with  clearly written English instructions.
