The majority of Canadian pilots of World War II received their primary flight training on Tiger Moths. After most bi-planes had been scrapped these sturdy two seater aircraft were still being used in large numbers. A version was made with a bubble canopy and floats for short take off and landing on Northen fresh water lakes. During winter time there was a set of skies to replace the floats.
