Built in the Colonies in 1775, the two-masted schooner Independence, fought during the American Revolution for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Plank on frame construction. This kit features pre-cut wooden parts and a double planked hull. The fittings includes boxwood blocks and deadeyes, brass rings, belaying pins and rudder hinges, cast metal anchors, cleats, lanterns and stern ornamentation along with six miniature brass cannon and eight carronades. Four diameters of rigging, cotton sailcloth, three double sided plans and photo-illustrated assembly instructions complete the kit.
