Designed by the prestigious office of John G.Alden Naval Architects, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts. It was a modification of a previous Alden design, "The Sakonnet Daysailer" which was designed in 1939.

Kit contains pre-cut basswood and mahogany parts, laser cut frames and die-cut components for the keel, rudder, deck, cabin sides and seats. Fittings consist of brass turnbuckles, gooseneck and winches, plus injection-molded blocks, cleats and chocks. Rigging line sailcloth and movable rudder and display stand complete the kit. Illustrated 32-page instruction manual covers every phase of construction.
