Sovereign of the Seas 1637 Wooden kit

Built for King Charles I of England in 1637 the Sovereign of the Seas was the largest and most powerful ship of her time. With her 104 guns, she could fire a broadside of more than one ton of iron. Her company of men was no less than 800 not including marines. For 60 years no enemy could sink her. Then one fateful night a cook left a candle burning in his cabin. She was totally consumed, right down to the water line!

Sergal #131-415-7 Plank on bulkhead construction.

The remaining fittings are made of brass, copper or casted metal. Several different sizes of rigging are included.
