Baltimore Clipper 1840

Designed for speed and maneuverability, these merchant vessels built in Baltimore in the early 1800's became known as Baltimore clippers. With her elegant lines large deck area and plentiful storage, the Albatross is a typical example.

#104-775-6 Plank on frame construction . Mantua: This kit features laser cut plywood keel and frames. Other wooden parts include lime wood hull planking, mahogany veneer deck, walnut masts, capstan and trim. Fittings are walnut and brass. Seven carriage mounted, turned brass cannon grace the decks. Two sheets of plans and illustrated instructions make construction trouble free.

Eight antiqued metal cannon on serve as armament. OcCre provides a full complement of sails that are pre-sewn and ready to rig. Wooden display cradle and a metal nameplate await your finished model.

Custom made showcase
Custom made acrylic show case. The front, top and back are made of one piece of acrylic and bent with heat. The sides are glued and then torched to give added strength.
